ARA GHAZARYAN Law Office was established in 2008. It provides wide range of legal services to individual clients and companies in Armenia and abroad. The scope of provision of services range from corporate to individual clients, from consulting to litigation, from in-depth surveys to drafting of legal opinions for courts. We have successfully represented clients from United States, United Kingdom, Russia, France, Norway, Italy, Canada, Luxembourg, Hungary, Germany, Iran, Netherlands, Sweden, Spain, Lebanon, Greece, Egypt, Japan, Belarus, Ukraine, Turkmenistan and Turkey in the national courts. We have also litigated before the courts in the United States, Russia, Portugal and United Kingdom for our clients from Armenia and other countries. Substantial part of international litigations were held in such widely recognized international tribunals as the European Court of Human Rights and the UN Human Rights Committee where litigations were brougth against Armenia, Poland, Ukraine and Lithuania on various public interest issues involving our clients from Armenia. The law office is specialized in legal matters involving civil and administrative claims such as property transactions, contract disputes, administrative proceedings with state bodies, civil fraud claims, protection of investments and shareholders’ rights.
The law office partners with “Rule of Law” Human Rights NGO, which is a non-governmental non-profit organization working in human rights area registered in Armenia in 2011. The organization was established to address the issues related to national legislation and judiciary system in Armenia and to contribute to the protection of human rights through improvement of legal awareness and execution of law. The areas the organization is actively involved in include strategic litigation, analysis of national and international law, legal assessments and reports, monitoring of the judicial practice, legal education.
